The Connection to Reiki and Psionics

Reiki Reverend Psychic Reading

The Connection to Reiki and Psionics

By: Reiki Reverend, PhD

Is Reiki Really A Psychic Ability?

Due to its nature, higher ranging psychic, or psionic abilities such as making fire or stopping time can be a difficult idea to consider in reality. But what about ‘lesser’ gifts that range though perception like empathy or precognition? For that matter how about healing methods such as Reiki?

What is Psionics?

Psionics is defined as a form of doing that can relate to or imply the use of psychic powers or abilities. These powers are commonly considered unable to be explained by the natural laws we govern.

A famous actor once said, “Don’t think, just do.” This quote to me is what I would consider a foundation for how the use of psychic powers or abilities can be thought to manifest. Moments where doubt is eliminated and the mind can flow with ideas or actions, free of its lower logical weight of burden to create ways, in a way that may not be explainable later.

The study of psychic powers and phenomena is called Parapsychology. There are a good number of resources available online for further reading, and even a few games if you are feeling a bit adventurous.

The best way to understand psionics is the manipulation of natural forces in ways that are not commonly explained. These abilities can range from heat and cold manipulation to psychic communication such as telepathy, empathy, or precognition. The limits of psionics is similar to what limits one could think of when they understand Reiki. In essence, the two terms both point at working with forces outside of themselves, and in ways that can’t quite be explained. All we really know of these features tangibly is that sometimes there is more than meets the eye or touch for those willing to experience it.

How Similar Are Reiki and Psionics?

Reiki is a spiritual practice that is only enabled to work its best by intention to allow, and would never seek to harm. Practitioners of Reiki bless others and themselves with healing energy or universal life force. This energy is consciously allowed to flow through as a channeled source to empower both the healer and recipient.

In psionics, you can learn to do similar by aligning or attuning with your chosen source of empowerment. Some choose the Sun or Moon, but the choices only range with the imagination of the person channeling. One could imagine channeling the heat of the sun to keep warm is similar to channeling the energy that governs life to channel healing. By its character, psychic abilities are only enabled by the will or idea of the practitioner. There are no laws by our standards that fully protect against someone with bad intentions. Only a means to work similarly to disrupt or prevent it.

Is Reiki Mind Over Matter?

This is the question I chose because these two ideas can very simply be confused for the same thing, not to exclude magic or spellcraft from this forum. Psionics and the like are all considered to use the power within our minds to grant us other than ordinary gifts to use how we can with the world around us. As these gifts may carry our intentions and philosophies, the difference is by description.

The implication from any of these types of psychic abilities may carry is personal, I will do my best to highlight what should be transparent.

Reiki is a form of channeled healing that only requires a conscious connection between Reiki and the recipient. There is no manipulation of force, otherworldly or not. The environment created during a Reiki session is not an alteration of will to make you feel anything, or even force your body to heal itself. Reiki enables the naturally occurring processes within the recipient to heal themselves. The same goes for the one channeling Reiki.

When I think of the two, I think of psionic healing (for example) as willed healing and Reiki as channeled healing. If someone wants to stop Reiki from working, they only need to intend it. Also, Reiki as a conscious force itself can continue working as your alignment with Reiki is strengthened by a meditation or session.

When you focus your will upon someone, your intentions have the potential to become another’s reality no matter the consequence or thought. If someone wants to stop psychic will and does not have proper protective methods, it may be difficult for them to function as they were without assistance by methods such as Reiki or magic.

Thinking back about my own personal experiences with psionics, I find that it was one of the best ways for me to learn how to explore my extra senses and capacity for growth in a secular way, but I do not use psychic manipulation in my healing practice. I do however, work with many different beings and channel intuitive knowledge to guide and assist with my psychic readings. I do so under the same protection that governs the guidance as well as other beings of full Love (perfect love) and Light (perfect, or highest vibrating light).

There is an air of the psychic world all around us, and in many different ways we are all psychic inside. New Age terms do not change what has already been, but they can give insight to those who want to believe.

Thank you for reading, please share this blog and page with anyone you think could benefit.
Please leave a comment below if you’ve ever had a psychic experience that you couldn’t explain, or a Reiki experience that may have felt like psychic healing.

If you or someone you care about feels as if they may be under psychic attack, contact me and I would be happy to work with you to assess or assist.

Spiritual Guidance – The Point of Healing IS Growth

Reiki Reverend - Antonio Dixon - Spiritual life coach, energy healing teacher

Spiritual Guidance
A Blog Series by: Reiki Reverend, Ph.D.

In-depth yet light-hearted spiritual guidance, general spiritual advice, and discussion based on different ways for you to enrich your spiritual awakening process.

One of the major goals of healing is growth. Spiritual, mental, physical. This growth is spoken for in ways that cannot be fully calculated or measured.
This growth simply IS, and shares itself to our perception as a result of healing intention.

How we choose to determine that growth when it comes to energy healing methods such as Reiki, is one the few effective markers besides scope that anyone has to understand just how much we have healed from our session-work or practice.

Our scope for healing is one of the biggest components that we have to determine our effectiveness as a healer. Once we understand this as limitless, the rest is separating from the results just long enough to witness it.

That being said, there is not very much else of a point truly. The aim of healing is always the continuity of life in some form. That fact is inarguable upon insight. The other understanding one gains from this journey is that with the continuity of life, there is always the possibility for a sweeping change.

A rapid blip of, “I had no idea that could happen.”
Of what nature, none can know, but only witness.

If we aren’t present in these thoughts, how will you know they exist?
What healing miracles lie just around the corner?
If it’s not around this corner, or that corner, what about just over the shoulder?

Even if we don’t know where to look, that’s fine. This type of perception in miracles happening within each moment isn’t as common at heart as is the sight of miracles or spoken word. Some people simply don’t believe in miracles, while others are willing to accept its both its existence and mystery as something that is intangibly ineffable.  Personally, I believe that miracles happen best when we’re not looking for them, but are open to their arrival within the breath of the moment.

My only goals in life have always been to grow as much as possible and help people out.
When I accepted my healing journey as my life’s work, I also accepted that the growth I would witness could be truly infinite. This was the best way I felt capable of allowing the work of Reiki to be done with the least amount of attachment from me.

I AM Reiki, but you are also Reiki.
As we work as one, miracles may be known and done.

The work that creates miracles from there is the very same work that enables growth.

How I choose to work within those lines, to keep myself happy and healthy, is by being as present as possible in my growth and its potential to witness miracles.

The 5 Reiki Principles are my favorite affirmations, doing my best to feel comfortable with my decisions is how I allow for these principles to be seen within the moment or soon after. They are what assist me to fearlessly begin taking action when someone is in need of healing. Even if that person is myself at the time.

I’m blessed in that I’m able to work in this capacity with present understanding of my purpose. My perception is what help me walk this path daily with little concern, it is what helps me heal the most when I do find concern. It is simple to say that if you don’t like the weather, just change your mind. Wisdom teaches of the moments when that’s not as easy as it sounds, but it also grants insight to the moments when it can be just that simple.

In these times, it is hard for a lot of people to reach out and connect with others without worrying for themselves or their immediate families. Even though people who considered themselves family to others are now sheltered compared to how they used to be. These types of changes are only the precipice to a much larger change of the whole.

What we are now faced with as individuals and groups is a harder insight. To look at ourselves in a way that is not as autonomous as waking up and walking the day. It is something that works in a way that we can’t predict. Because of that, many of us are frightened.

However, it’s not the fears that keep us from moving forward to infinity and beyond. To those who known of reincarnation, some of us have gone through that already after all. What allows for us to move forward are the very same forces that we could never hope to control in its simplest and most complex measures.

The miracle of growth by all means possible and potential to our existence.

The belief in what can happen, and the faith or just cause to seek the next horizon.
Where our visions of humanity’s healing miracle is just around the corner.
Only hidden just enough from sight to grant faith for those who would keep it.

Thank you all for reading.

What is Reiki?

Reiki Reverend Neural Light LED Energy Healing

What is Reiki?

Reiki is the essence of life and self-preservation. It is in the DNA of every living thing on the planet. It embodies the higher self’s connection with the universe, and it is a part of the ebb and flow of life.

We are all born with the capacity to heal and maintain our health naturally. It is our conscious decision to develop this gift into an art that makes one a healer.

Our ancestors used this inherent knowledge, as well as other skills, to preserve not only our lives but the lives of others as well. Unfortunately, due to the passage of time and the rapid growth of technology, we have lost touch with much of this wisdom.

We have lost touch with our natural capabilities to heal and tune into the needs of Spirit. To touch infinity, and grasp what could be considered basic concepts related to some of our greatest gifts.

Through many forms of media, and the postulation of a cookie-cutter society, we have not only been conditioned to listen to our logic more than our hearts, but we have also been taught that we as individuals have little say in what the picture of right and wrong is in terms of who we really are inside.

Balance of the heart and mind is necessary in order for there to be true harmony. Instead of relinquishing control over one’s health and well-being, it has become increasingly important to regain our inherent power; our birthright to a state of higher self and self-awareness.

Reiki can be a very strong motivator for this shift to occur.

Many say that when you are prepared to find Reiki, Reiki will find you.

Reiki, the invisible ebb and flow of the universe, will seek you out when you need it the most.

What is Reiki to you?

Spiritual Guidance – Your Healing Work is Our Healing Journey

Reiki Reverend - Antonio Dixon - Spiritual life coach, energy healing teacher

Spiritual Guidance
A Blog Series By:
Reiki Reverend, Ph.D.

In this article, I’ll be discussing why I temporarily shut down my website, and how Spirit renewed my call to teach healing.

Right now is our time to center, to remember who you are and why you are on your path or spiritual journey.

When I had made one of the simplest drop-shipping mistakes, my drop-shipping business was quickly plummeting, I knew I needed a drastic change in my life if I were to be able to keep moving forward without losing sense my sense of self. I thought I had to shut down my business to find myself, what I found instead was far more enlightening.

My attempt to have a successful business was not very small at all. I had invested not only over 12 hours of research, but a chunk of my savings towards the success of that business. A major investment which lost the battle of will with my desire to fully embrace parenthood with my then-developing  toddler, and my then almost 18-month old. I wouldn’t have had it any other way though.

At the time I was managing a separate blog and spiritual jewelry drop-shipping business, Pathways of Limitless Light. From its beginnings, I felt like had done more than enough groundwork, study, and communications with the shopify admin to ensure a successful journey. I made sure my everything was in proper order for my page, and even began working my partnership with shopify into my posts about various spiritual and religious wares.

I had started this journey after my online church, Limitless Light Healing Ministries, had too may hardships in because of my workload and a lack of true accountability with my board. All of this, along with an intriguing amount of difficulty with finding a consistent secretary, made it remarkably to make it all work. My goal of sharing healing with the world from a paradigm founded in raising healing spirits was not quite met, but nevertheless I washed my hands ceremonially of the experience. I feel in my heart that starting the church and attempting to raise it in a way that could serve many was preparation for the next steps along my journey. As this is what I am doing now, I have no regrets.

The two losses, combined with the common stresses of parenthood left me in a bit of a mental tumble.
My way of thinking about remaining in business in general had changed drastically. I had just registered Reiki Reverend LLC formally mind you, up until that point I had seen my business a an evolution of how I would continue my life’s work; Helping others grow. However, as my time away from my children became more obvious, it was with great burden that I considered it leaving it all behind for a pretty long time.

I never considered shutting down the website entirely until I found myself unable to cope with the weight of continuing. I would tell myself that my work didn’t matter in the bigger picture, that it wasn’t impactful, just to try and convince myself of what my heart would not truly believe.

I continued with injecting myself with a lot of different limiting beliefs, but the emotional toll was impeccable. I care about my work, and I also care about my children. To be consistent I have to make time, but with young children that time is liminal. The big picture at the time was how far I was willing to go to be a father and do my work honestly. It’s not a secret that this business can hold a lot of projects simultaneously, and I never know when Spirit will call on me to work with someone, record, something for a blog or Podcast. To balance both, I felt my life may become unmanageable.

One thought continued to prevail however, it would send a shimmer to my mind whenever I would circle near delete buttons for too long.
You see, I never found a problem with any of the long-term projects I would drift to and from, but I was always taught by a mentor to be consistent no matter what, or you may fall from attention. To my heart-space, time for reflection to share fully and beautifully are all in-part aspects of my spiritual journey.

For many it isn’t a problem nevertheless, however I personally don’t like feeling rushed with what I would give freely to others.

When I meditated on everything, I came to the conclusion that this had to be the work of Spirit calling me to tend my shadow yet again. It took time to feel better about even posting deletion notices, and taking my webpages offline, but I couldn’t stay active wavering as I did. So, it was in full faith that this would resolve as needed that I took a bow and left.

It took a good while for me to finally relax and not think about my projects, but I was finally able to relax my mind and heal from the limiting beliefs that the nature of business held over my spiritual progress. In this time, a few of my students and even some friends will attest to how often I reached out to share knowledge or energy. I just couldn’t help myself from the moment I felt called to assist.

Even in my darkest moments, the joy from helping others has always brought a special type of bliss to me. That joy surpasses what I want from a business because its value is limitless. I realized that the business has been, and always will be, a vessel for a portion of my spiritual journey. Never the whole.

After all, I had been helping others anyway in general. It puts a huge smile on my face to know that I was able to help. In meditation, I asked Spirit to help guide my course.

What happened after would be nothing short of a powerful message.

Even though I had occasionally helped my students and friends out with various things, it was never very frequent that this would happen, maybe once a week or so. However, slowly but surely, I noticed a change in my Facebook newsfeed.

People looking for teachers in the Healing Arts, people with deep questions that seemed to be directly aimed at things I had either felt or experienced, some of them even reflections of questions I had myself. It was all rather triggering for me, but I continued to abide and answered who I felt guided to.

About 3 weeks ago, I started getting messages and activity on my Etsy shop that I had completely forgotten to close. These messages were most often dense with content and emotion. I was torn with the first message I had gotten.

*The following statements have been quoted with permission, but due to their potential perceptions from peers I have chosen to keep the name of my student anonymous to protect all directly involved.*

“Do these Usui Reiki Certifications also come with the proper attunements from you? I ask this as I have seen some Etsy sellers simply sell the information from the books and not offer the attunements to go with it. Without the attunements, the information out of respect for the art of Reiki should not be used.”

It struck deep, but the part that made me completely rethink my decision to teach was the most unsettling.

“I need to protect my wellbeing and make sure that I am working with a Teacher of Light and Love. As a teacher of Reiki, do you follow the ‘Principals of Reiki’ taught in Usui Reiki I; do you follow what you teach? If I am struggling with something in the session, will you help and uplift instead of scolding me? If you feel for any reason at all that I have violated your space and/or time, will you tell me in a kind and empathetic fashion instead of yelling at me?”

In this world that we live in, I can understand the need to survive by other-than-normal means. We all have in the very least held witness to it throughout life. I myself began humbly, but would soon begin the same as others for a time.

When I saw firsthand the minuscule imprint I left on my students compared to doing my work honestly, I quickly resumed the latter. So, the details they gave me regarding the first question didn’t come as a shock to me.

It was the context they gave to the second question, that made me ponder in a trance-like pause.

To hear of a teacher who would treat a student with such disrespect is gut-retching.

I’m not oblivious to the ways of others, but to me the relationship between student and teacher is sacred. If it’s not in Love or higher purpose, then there is no good reason to ever yell at a student.

I was once told by my guides that it would not be what I did that gave me the most energy and success, but it would be how I did it that would attract abundance for my practice.

For me, teaching others is a passion, guiding their spiritual paths and even life’s journey in various ways. I could never think to treat the people who come to me dishonorably.

Whether people come to me for simple healing services, psychic services, life coaching, or even learning a certification course, I do my best to remain invested in how people feel about our interactions.

Not just the results of a working, or how easy the written content was to read, but how they feel about their development and growth since we first began. Most often, I even maintain dialogue after they have completed their course-work.

However, I do cast aside personal investment with all of my healing practices to best allow for the highest intentions to manifest. Not only have I seen better results personally, but it is also a core element of my tradition.

The begging question, left publicly unaddressed to those who have followed my work, is why did I leave to begin with?

As I said earlier, at its center, a lot of personal ordeals and challenges that I had buried repeatedly and walked away from all surfaced at once. Immediately, I had far too much on my plate to comfortably work through, along with my responsibilities as a parent. To be quite frank, it was crippling.

Bit by bit, I felt my motivation waning, and I had to make a decision at the time whether or not I’d close down, perform a soul retrieval, and wait for Spirit to guide me to my next step.

Little did I know how that would manifest.

As I continued to hear and read similar messages that my now student had sent to me, from multiple sources, I knew that I could not allow myself to sit while the community began to degrade.

That I would do my part in whatever way possible to help in the very least balance the community of teachers out and assist with helping more teachers better reach, and be accessed by, students.

This all being said, I bear no ill-will to anyone who sells courses without interaction or purchases courses simply for the certificate and proverbial blessing to practice.

There are far more practitioners and even teachers who started the same way but will never publicly admit to it. What makes us different is our will to push beyond ego and learn how to best do our work. How to heal others while holding sacred the Light that enables us to do so.

In gaining experience, wisdom, and perspective, you may best prevent mistakes that could harm the ill-prepared or even the recipient.

The rest is giving those who seek access to their teacher(s) or resources the ability to do so most simply.

As we are all healers inherently; Constantly growing and developing, there will be a dire need for things like this in the community if there isn’t already.

Whether or not you will count yourself among those who stood in the Light, honoring their students and healing traditions; Guiding the steps of those who have invested their energy and placed their faith into you.

That choice is yours to make.

That challenge is yours to accept.

Your healing work is our healing journey.

Each of our souls is connected with the same Light.

Let us share our healing wisdom in harmony with one another.

Spiritual Guidance – Taking One Step Back

Reiki Reverend, PhD - Spiritual Guidance, Energy Healing, and Psychic Services

Spiritual Guidance

A Blog Series By:

Reiki Reverend, Ph.D.

I’ll be giving in-depth yet light-hearted spiritual guidance, spiritual counseling, and a way for you to enhance your spiritual awakening.

In this article, we’ll be taking a step back. What do I mean? Read my story below.

Taking One Step Back

My goal today is the provide the help you need to achieve that next step on your personal paths to your higher purpose. Speaking of steps, that’s exactly what I want to talk about.

Steps.

Already, I have some people excited about that concept. “Alright, progress, moving forward all the time.”

After all, most of us perceive time as linear even if we don’t think about it consciously. We wake up in the morning expecting the rest of our day to fall in line from beginning to end. Sunrise to sunset, event to event.

That’s a fine way to look at things, but what if I told you that sometimes, things don’t always work out like that. Some people will automatically see where I’m going. I may have just lost everyone else, but that’s ok, isn’t it?

That’s the point.

Your day may have been going along rather smoothly before this point.

Or this point.

Or even this point.

Now you may be starting to question the way things are going to work within this blog.

I assure you that this is all going according to plan. Who’s plan is completely up to your intuition.

I woke up this morning, just like I have the past few days. Only to sit at my desk and wonder what I’m going to do with my day. You see, I’ve had a lot planned out these past days, and I’ve made a lot of changes to how I operate.

These rapid changes in my life seemed to be leading me to what I call, the next season of my epic TV series, that you all just happened to be a part of. I say it like this for a reason. You see, like all popular TV shows, there’s a protagonist or hero, and then there’s the antagonist or villain.

Sometimes, it’s as clear as that guy at the door who’s trying to keep you from entering your favorite restaurant. Other times, it can be far less clear.

A few weeks ago, I was drinking up to a whole pot of coffee a day, I was taking in a lot of nicotine from my e-cigarette, I was stressed, distressed, and just flat out a mess with my emotions. Even though I was thinking these things would help, time after time they just never seemed to work with me completely.

What changed for me you might ask? Reiki.

You see, up until the point of realizing my healing journey, I didn’t have a daily practice or study. I was pretty much just walking by the heels of my shoes, with my feet barely in, and I was waiting for my miracle to happen like a little kid waiting for Santa Claus.

I refused to accept personal accountability for some of the things that went on in my life, even though I was great at deflecting or rewriting a situation in my mind to suit what made me feel better about it.

As a result, my lifestyle seemed to remain in this flux where I secretly knew that things would only improve just long enough for my hope to be shattered before my eyes.

It wasn’t that I was a bad person, I walked in the light and all that comes with that. Every day wasn’t inherently bad for me, but my perception of the day is what would always torture me.

It’s this logic that I was always fighting a constant battle between myself and my inner demons, and the belief that their strength would eventually trump mine is what led me to a victim mentality and caused me to allow for my personal power to be whittled away.

Finally, it all caught up to me.

You see, while I was waiting for this miracle to happen, I wasn’t paying close attention to the abundance and wonder that was accumulating all around me. My son, who was attuned to Reiki while my significant other was pregnant and already developing to be a pretty hefty empath, had begun to understand himself more and more by the day.

My significant other was starting to make some big changes in her life and aiming higher and higher each day. Meanwhile, there I was, a hermit in a cave. I liked my cave for its ‘safety.’ I secretly knew that once I stuck my head out of that cave, it would be time for me to change as well. It would be about time for that next season to come.

I feared that next season so much because it meant that I would be a much larger blip on the radar. I couldn’t make the same childish mistakes of the past without facing some big consequences. I guess you could say that I have a Peter Pan complex, afraid to grow up and come into my own power.

Even then I knew that it would be necessary for me to work at my best and shed as many of my bad habits as I could.

That’s when I was called to begin teaching Reiki again. I knew that I was only at my best when I was practicing on a consistent basis and helping others. It’s like my blood would begin to run cold if I wasn’t helping others.

I had wanted for a long time to try working out a sliding scale to help people out who couldn’t afford the lessons or the sessions, but it was troublesome because I never felt as if I should be charging others.

Not for lack of self-worth, but for lack of desire. I just didn’t feel that Spirit wanted me to get compensation for my services at the time. The less than positive feedback from my associates only made the weight on my shoulders that much heavier.

I remember what happened next like a lucid dream. For the first time in over a month, I had finally lined up a 1-on-1 class with a good friend of mine who I’d been talking to about learning Reiki for about as long as I’d known him. Not even a day later, I had another 1-on-1 class lined up with someone else I was called to teach who I’d known for a while on Facebook.

These classes and the events to follow would come nothing short of fantastic.

That next week I had them both attuned to Reiki I and was proceeding with daily follow-up chats to make sure that they were receiving the attunement well and keeping up with their studies. In that same week, both mine and my significant other’s moms fell ill and ended up in the hospital. Another one of our friends was also making a trip to the hospital for surgery.

As I was called to work more on the infrastructure of my Facebook group I was also coming across a good number of requests for healing.

For the first time, I ran a distance Reiki session for multiple people at the same time. I would then go on to do several other distance sessions over that span of time. I would say that at one point in the week I was doing at least 2-3 a day for about 20-30 minutes at a time.

It would be shortly after that week that I began to feel odd. I had less control over my emotions than normal, and I felt my energy leaking right out of me. My thoughts all seemed to become negative, and before I could even fully process anything that was happening to me I knew I would need to assume the worst.

That for the first time in a long time, all of that negative energy that was being stored up in the corners of my mind had begun to flow freely. It had been revealed to me to help me heal more.

I knew that I had to take action, but I wasn’t confident that I could do it by myself. As I continued to find any source of light inside or outside of me to abate this sensation feeling like it wanted to engulf me, I reached out to whoever I could think of to help me.

Every time I started to reach out, I felt my mind splitting apart at the act, attempting to rip my hands back from the keyboard or phone. It had started to get worse and worse over time. After I had gotten the last message out, I felt in my heart that nobody would reach me in time.

I had to make a choice.

Either let this feeling wash over me and take me, or assume a meditative posture, lock my body up, and fight with every ounce of light I could muster up.

So I turned on my Himalayan salt lamp, put on some appropriate music to meditate to for the occasion, turned it all the way up to drown everything else out, and I went to work chanting the symbols and channeling Reiki in prayer.

I was in deep meditation for about an hour and a half before I would come back to my body. During that period of time, I experienced the greatest crucible I had ever faced.

So many times, I felt my mind and astral body being tossed around, ripped apart, smashed, burned, and much more. It was almost like the dark night of Siddhartha as he meditated under the bodhi tree.

Every set back made it harder and harder for me to will myself back together and continue. I felt like I was fighting a losing battle. That I had too much negativity in me to fight off. This was it, my last crusade. In my final moments of these thoughts, I felt the ascended masters and angels speaking to me.

“Stop fighting with your will, heal with your spirit!”

It was at that moment that I stopped feeling sorry for myself. I stopped thinking of this as a simple battle of brawn and I saw it for what it really was. My grand opportunity to heal myself on the deepest level I could fathom.

I called every ounce of light within me to my hands, every bright and happy moment of my life, every bit of hope and faith in my goals and aspirations, and that night I discovered depths of my capabilities with Reiki.

I channeled it not only into that darkness but to every corner of my mind that was still in pain, every memory that just needed some love and light to grow into something better.

When I came back, I wasn’t anywhere near the same. I felt completely healed on all levels. Over the course of the next few days, I would severely cut down on my caffeine and nicotine consumption, change my diet, and experience a deep reprogramming of my mind and thoughts.

By the end of this time, I would have cut out coffee altogether. I felt a sense of peace and serenity in my mind that seemed to be waiting within for the right moment to come out.

This is a recollection of events during one of my meditations:

I was journeying to the furthest reaches I could take my astral journey when I first ran across it.

Vibrant streams of energy, huge and dense constructs that felt like other planets super far away, entities that could perform a perfect telepathic connection with such high vibrations (all of them).

We conversed for quite some time before I began to test the limits of my trance with this energy. I was able to move my body in ways I haven’t in years and function at a MUCH higher volume than I’ve ever been capable of.

There were a few odd things that happened though. The more I accepted this developing power within me as mine, the stronger the connection I became between my son and Twin Flame.

I was given the impression that any form of conflict that would occur on this level would not only affect me, but him, her, and even my blood family and ancestors as well. I was even warned quite a few times as the level of the connections slowly escalated to a peak.

The oddest thing that happened to me at that time was a technique called, “Understand.” Several of the entities I encountered used this technique on me. I was able to not only sense their power afterward but peer into ‘them.” Highlights of their existence, where they came from as well as their power and the distant extensions of it.

I would almost always come into a sense of apprehension eventually as if I had a choice to make about whether or not to accept or rebuke the energy. I only rebuked what felt like negative or harmful intent, and simply allowed the rest to be. Then something even odder happened.

After being exposed to this “Understand” technique so many times and allowing myself to exist at my highest potential (mainly to be prepared for anything to go bad), I noticed that I literally had no limits. I could most likely continue to tap my energies for as long as I needed to. Like I was connected to a deep source of unlimited energy.

After a good many times being tried with “Understand,” I began to get how it was being done and I began to exchange this technique with them. It almost seemed like they were trying to teach me after a while. Like they were helping me become more aware of my capabilities, but beware of other entities out there with similar capabilities.

Eventually, I felt it time to ground and come back, but I still feel like I’m a part of it now. Like there are aspects of me that have expanded into a much deeper pool of knowledge and capacity.”

After that, I began to accept and embrace my path in other ways as well. I meditated more and began to expand my consciousness, from the universe that we know to the multiverse that we only dream of.

I have since this time went back and learned more, but that journey is far from over.

This was my step forward.

It took a few weeks, maybe months, but I started to feel drained yet again. This time has been different. I had stopped drinking coffee, but I was slowly gauging up my tea consumption. I’ve felt stuck in a loop and run down. At first, I just thought that I was exerting too much energy during these meditations and that I needed to rest and recharge. After a while, I knew that it was more complicated than that.

Well, the easiest thing I can say is that I finally broke down. I finally made a pot of coffee. The hard part is to say that I needed to take a step back with a lot more than that so that I could move forward later.

At first, I felt a bit down, that I had to depend on something other than my own will to get my engines going. I didn’t see or understand what would come of it because I was too busy worrying about the broken promises, or the step back.

Looking at things now as I write/speak to you, I would say that I needed that step back in order to move forward.

I needed to take another look at myself and my ego and realize that my goals are too important to allow myself to be bogged down by the weight on one step back knowing that with that step back, I am now ready to take a giant leap forward.

This is something we all experience in life at times.

When you admit that you were wrong in an argument to heal from the experience. When you have to wait and pay for your car repairs so that you can finish your vacation or get to work. Even when you must reevaluate everything that you’ve ever thought was right in order to walk the path you’ve always needed to be on.

I’m here to tell you, that not only has it been done before, but it WILL be done again. By you, by your friends, by your family, by your neighbor.

And that’s OK.

Instead of coming from an inner/outer place of judgment when those times finally come, it’s important to have faith in the situation working out for the better.

My Top 5 Reasons To Seek Reiki Training

Reiki Reverend Reiki level 1 level 2 level 3 Master Course

There are still many people out there who are hesitant to seek Reiki training.

Whether it be for personal reasons, such as religious beliefs. Financial reasons, such as hardship. Even for reasons that are more professional, such as finding it to be ‘unnecessary.’

I thought it would be a good idea to help people make an informed decision when it comes to the many benefits of receiving Reiki training with a blog article.

Want to sign up for my new monthly Reiki and Coaching program? Check out the link at the bottom of this page.

1. Knowledge of Reiki and proper training are a great foundation for your energy healing practice.

When you are first starting out as an aspiring professional, or even as an established professional. Have a good foundation for your practice is paramount.

Being able to explain to your clients what you do and how you do it are the two biggest determining factors in building enough rapport to hold space for a session. Personally, I see this a lot when it comes to the many modalities I practice.

People simply want to know as much as possible about your practice before choosing you. This way, they can make an informed decision before receiving service or instruction. A foundation of in Reiki Training may be typical, but it is also what people will look for when it comes to identifying you as a professional energy healer.

2. You are able to carry yourself as a professional energy healer with accredited certification.

Having an accredited certification is what will set you apart from others when it comes down to the paperwork. Let’s face it. In 2018, it’s possible for anyone with a printer to pass certification to others and consider themselves an authority.

What accreditation does ideally, gives you a firm ground to stand on when people question the integrity of your certification. My courses are all accredited through the ACHH, as well as the WMA.

This alone helps tremendously when it comes to gaining my client’s trust, and could make the difference when it comes to you and your practice as a professional energy healer.

3. You may be able to network with your student peers, or even your teacher, based on your level and degree of study.

Ideally, when you being your Reiki Training, your teacher is already an established professional and has the proper resources and network to help you further your personal goals.

In many cases where they may be lacking in these categories, you are also able to find your student peers to be beneficial in furthering your network.

The best teachers are ones who are attentive to their students and help them gather additional resources to help them along on their healing journeys. I make myself as available as possible to many of my students just for this reason. I like getting to know them and have no issues connecting them to others who may be a good fit for their goals.

It’s a small world, one with many opportunities for growth. In addition to having connections with members of the ACHH/WMA, I am also connected with several successful members of the healing community. Often, I will use these connections to favor my students and help them to further their personal goals.

Where I may lack in knowledge, I bridge the connection to others who have whatever knowledge or experience my students are seeking at the time.

4. Reiki Training can easily cross over into other types of energy healing or holistic work.

Reiki is Universal. It can be used as a complementary therapy when it comes to other energy healing modalities. It’s also a great skill to have in the event that a client is unresponsive to your normal healing work.

When I began my journey as an aspiring energy healer, I used Reiki to grant me a stronger foundation. One that I could build on to best learn how to work with other types of energy healing. While I knew that my healing practice could be very effective in some areas, I also felt that I lacked the knowledge and experience to work with others professionally.

It wasn’t until I became a Reiki Master/Teacher that I began to gain the confidence necessary for me to further my personal energy healing practices.

5. It’s much easier to be consistent with your clients.

I left this last because of how impactful this can be on your practice. Have you ever worked on two separate clients, and been unable to define what you did, or how you did it for either of them?

Reiki is a very simple explanation for how energy healing works. I don’t believe I need to tell you that being able to properly explain yourself to others is one of the most important factors in a successful energy healer.

Reiki training gives you these tools in a very easy to administer package. To the novice, this can be paramount. To the experienced energy healers, this is more along the lines of something that may come as an “Ah-ha!” moment. What many people look past in the short-term is the ability to assess and reconstruct a successful healing session.

Having a set way to work on your clients, no matter how loosely based, will indefinitely grant you the necessary insight to isolate concerns with your practice, and correct them quickly and efficiently.

Once you have a set way to practice that works for you and your clients, you can easily explain it to others, and help them gain valuable insight and learn how to heal themselves or others as well.

This list is not by any means the end-all-be-all, but it is intended to help.

Do you have anything to add to this list? Be sure to tell us in the comments below.

Spiritual Guidance: A Lesson on Energy – A Means Past An End

Quantum-Energy-Spirit-Fractal

Spiritual Guidance – A Blog Series by: Reiki Reverend, Ph.D.

In-depth yet light-hearted spiritual guidance, general spiritual advice, and discussion based on different ways for you to enrich your spiritual awakening process.

A Lesson on Energy: A Means Past an End

The end, a plane of thought known only to some as the realm in which there is no more.

A place of being that consists of a checkered flag, a handshake, and you guessed it… even more. Sometimes that ‘more’ is a clear next step, other times it can lead to a metaphorical or physical wall. How can you learn to work with your willpower when you are unable to see the next step clearly? You transcend it.

You begin allowing your mind/body/spirit to become more. You train, discipline yourself to understand that no matter what happens to the body, the mind will continue in consciousness through the spirit. This is the core matter of energy.

Energy: Fuel for the fire

The inner fire that kicks up from within us and begins to bellow. Propelling our spirits, and inflating our lives with a bit of hot air and motivation.

This motivation comes from within.

The inner chamber of thought that allows for you to be at your best. Sometimes it takes us knowing about that, “bit more than we think that we have,” to achieve better results. As beings of Source (emanations of the Eagle, children of the Great Spirit, heir of your bloodline), we can do much more than what we allow ourselves to think. This is because we know deep within this realm of thought that we ARE HERE, and will continue to be.

That our powers for growth are limitless, and our consciousness must live on.

Energy: A Source of Power and Triumph

Without this simple guiding line, fueling our very cores from bones to air, our way of life would not exist.

Look within.

You hear that phrase a lot, but what does it really mean?

Well, from the perspective of energy it actually means a lot. We are constantly providing our bodies with energy by eating and even absorbing sunlight to a degree. We are using that energy in many different ways that commonly go unseen or unnoticed. Namely, our abilities to transform or transmute energy into different forms.

Commonly, this could be from solid to liquid or gas, but if you think of it from a different perspective, our abilities to transmute energy also affect our motivation.

With empathy, we are constantly receiving energy from the emotions of others. If we can safely transmute or digest that energy, then it becomes easier to manage. However, by allowing the energies of others to affect our spirits, properly working through the energies may be more difficult.

Normally, we don’t contemplate motivation as a means of transmuting energy. Looking at things differently, motivation is actually one of the strongest forms of potential energy we can acquire with minimal effort. Only thought.

Speaking of thought, there are also multiple ways to look at energy from the mental perspective. There are even natural methods of working with thoughts such as NLP, coaching, and talk therapy.

These are just ways to use our thoughts to better work with our lives and the world. Taking the time to work on yourself in a way that honors your path is the best way to find what works for you. Understanding different ways to progress, and using different ways to achieve that progress are what can provide us with the greatest tools.

For The Best Results, Please Use Responsibly

Too much of anything can quickly sap you of your power, and thus the Bodhi teaches moderation.

This force in which not only grants us life and liberation from an ‘end’ can only stretch as far as we allow.

“When we refuse to take responsibility for our ability(or inability) to commit own energy to actions, we are consciously allowing ourselves to let go of our control over the resolution within ourselves.”

Reiki Reverend

Consider these questions for insight as you meditate on the quote above:

Did you really need that unhealthy meal to celebrate a workout or healthy choice?

Did you really need to relive the trauma of your past to heal from the karma heal or feel a sense of progress?

Some people do have a personal need for this, but in most cases others only need to re-frame and experience or process the events differently.’

Do you have to place others before yourself at all times in order to feel as if you are on your way to success?

Are there things that you practice, or people that you meet within in daily life that you feel should have been released or let go of some time ago?

What is holding you back from either letting these things go or accepting their current place in your life?

Are these things currently taking away your energy or comfort?

Learning how to accept the simple truths or facts within our setbacks or problems can help us develop ways to work with these hardships to transmute them into goals on your path to personal accomplishment. By taking your setbacks and using them to create goals, you can also gain valuable insights by working from a different perspective.

Sometimes this knowledge can lead you to think of how to work to a better outcome, other times it can simply help yourself to work through problems productively or methodically.

Energy For Healing

We can connect to energy without understanding it because of our connection to it as living beings. We are already energy workers in our own respects. To live and breathe, is to understand the essence of Reiki in mind and body. Once aligned in spirit with an attunement, we are able to heal more effectively.

Energy can be thought of as many things, but at the end of the day, it simply IS. We work with it daily even though its inner mysteries continue to elude us.

Energy is known to exist, even though it is not as easy to be fully understood or realized. We KNOW its truth without speaking it, we use it without realizing it. This can also be said of energy healing. While we don’t completely understand its methods scientifically, we are aware of its healing effects and abilities to assist the body and more.

When we allow ourselves to pursue a path of healing, it can affect our energy in many different ways. It can be a great means to achieving empowerment.

Life After Reiki 3

Reiki Reverend Reiki 3 Training Course

Life After Reiki 3

So, you’ve “mastered” Reiki and can now consider yourself among those who have demonstrated their understanding of the Reiki Principles and practice either through commitment, discipline, or by simply being a part of Reiki.

What now?

When I tell others that there are many different energy healing techniques aside from Usui Reiki, the responses are mixed between excitement and disbelief. I can go on to say that these techniques also have unique energy and skill levels that can determine what type of technique you heal with, learn, teach, and/or attune to.

Some of these techniques even REQUIRE or advise strongly for students to have a mastery of Reiki in order to pursue in earnest, the prospect of learning past Reiki 3 can seem like a whole new world.

When you place that in the perspective that some energy healing teachers will not recognize lessons from another teacher, the idea of learning other healing techniques could seem rather daunting. Attach this to the ‘internet of things,’ with a flurry of opinions mixed with experience and wisdom, and it’s quite possible that even learning Reiki online may have made it a bit confusing to learn energy healing at all.

The desire to strengthen our capacity to heal is just as inherent as our will to heal ourselves and others. Is it even necessary to learn more healing techniques after Reiki mastery?

First thing’s first…

Let’s address this occasionally popular idea that somehow Reiki may be inferior to other forms of healing. Not only because of its close-minded nature as a premise but also in its logic and rationale.

When we tap into the universal life force, an ever-growing and developing a frame of energy that can work collectively as a mind. To experience the healing from the universal life for with methods like Reiki, the effects can both comfort like a warm embrace, and wash away unclean energy like currents in an ocean.

There is no thought of its limit, there is only the universal life force. When you understand that within each fold of a multiverse, there is still a governing universe, there can be no limit to what was and will inevitably be known as one.

In honesty, any confusion that could be seen lies within the simplicity of Reiki’s technique. It’s lessons gently guide one to understand the universal life force. What it may not do in its finest capacity is help one grasp the many different concepts that can emerge from Reiki’s lessons. I have found that attempting to learn another healing discipline after Reiki is a lot easier to do than before I studied, and once I have learned another technique I have no problems with simply channeling Reiki instead. This Reiki is different however, as it takes on the subtitles of the other technique as well.

Over time as I adapted different healing techniques to my practice, it would help shape what I like to call my “healer’s instincts and logic.” The core elements that allow a healer to channel deep healing sooner. Having a keener insight to work with someone’s concerns and being able to understand a root cause sooner.

Let’s get back to my answer for this burning question. What could you do after Reiki 3?

Well, the answer’s about as simple as being a college graduate after you walk the podium.

Do you remember your reasons for beginning your studies? Some practitioners take years to acquire Reiki 3, if you fall into this category I would suggest looking for anything relevant to your practice in the now while meditating on any ideas you had previously forgotten about.

Notebooks, drawings of the Reiki symbols, anything. Use what you find to start coming up with clues or memories, sometimes working with the materials again can inspire new thoughts as well.

Your next steps can be as simple or as complicated as you want. Do you want professional recognition with a company (such as the IARP or the RHA), or would you prefer to simply start your own company and build your own brand?

Do you want to pursue your studies further, or simply meditate on this amazing achievement in your life?

It may not seem like it, but as a Reiki Master, your options are now more open than they were for practicing in the health and wellness field. Shop around for opportunities that can complement your current career path, or even guide you down a new path. You never know what you may find.

I personally offer courses on various healing modalities to help you expand and develop along your healing journey. Some of them include techniques to complement Reiki like Imara Reiki, Angelic Reiki, Blue Star Celestial Healing, Karuna Ki, and more) . If you have any questions, please leave me a message.

Consultations are always free.
