My Top 5 Reasons To Seek Reiki Training

Reiki Reverend Reiki level 1 level 2 level 3 Master Course

There are still many people out there who are hesitant to seek Reiki training.

Whether it be for personal reasons, such as religious beliefs. Financial reasons, such as hardship. Even for reasons that are more professional, such as finding it to be ‘unnecessary.’

I thought it would be a good idea to help people make an informed decision when it comes to the many benefits of receiving Reiki training with a blog article.

1. Knowledge of Reiki and proper training are a great foundation for your energy healing practice.

When you are first starting out as an aspiring professional, or even as an established professional. Have a good foundation for your practice is paramount.

Being able to explain to your clients what you do and how you do it are the two biggest determining factors in building enough rapport to hold space for a session. Personally, I see this a lot when it comes to the many modalities I practice.

People simply want to know as much as possible about your practice before choosing you. This way, they can make an informed decision before receiving service or instruction. A foundation of in Reiki Training may be typical, but it is also what people will look for when it comes to identifying you as a professional energy healer.

2. You are able to carry yourself as a professional energy healer with accredited certification.

Having an accredited certification is what will set you apart from others when it comes down to the paperwork. Let’s face it. In 2018, it’s possible for anyone with a printer to pass certification to others and consider themselves an authority.

What accreditation does ideally, gives you a firm ground to stand on when people question the integrity of your certification. My courses are all accredited through the ACHH, as well as the WMA.

This alone helps tremendously when it comes to gaining my client’s trust, and could make the difference when it comes to you and your practice as a professional energy healer.

3. You may be able to network with your student peers, or even your teacher, based on your level and degree of study.

Ideally, when you being your Reiki Training, your teacher is already an established professional and has the proper resources and network to help you further your personal goals.

In many cases where they may be lacking in these categories, you are also able to find your student peers to be beneficial in furthering your network.

The best teachers are ones who are attentive to their students and help them gather additional resources to help them along on their healing journeys. I make myself as available as possible to many of my students just for this reason. I like getting to know them and have no issues connecting them to others who may be a good fit for their goals.

It’s a small world, one with many opportunities for growth. In addition to having connections with members of the ACHH/WMA, I am also connected with several successful members of the healing community. Often, I will use these connections to favor my students and help them to further their personal goals.

Where I may lack in knowledge, I bridge the connection to others who have whatever knowledge or experience my students are seeking at the time.

4. Reiki Training can easily cross over into other types of energy healing or holistic work.

Reiki is Universal. It can be used as a complementary therapy when it comes to other energy healing modalities. It’s also a great skill to have in the event that a client is unresponsive to your normal healing work.

When I began my journey as an aspiring energy healer, I used Reiki to grant me a stronger foundation. One that I could build on to best learn how to work with other types of energy healing. While I knew that my healing practice could be very effective in some areas, I also felt that I lacked the knowledge and experience to work with others professionally.

It wasn’t until I became a Reiki Master/Teacher that I began to gain the confidence necessary for me to further my personal energy healing practices.

5. It’s much easier to be consistent with your clients.

I left this last because of how impactful this can be on your practice. Have you ever worked on two separate clients, and been unable to define what you did, or how you did it for either of them?

Reiki is a very simple explanation for how energy healing works. I don’t believe I need to tell you that being able to properly explain yourself to others is one of the most important factors in a successful energy healer.

Reiki training gives you these tools in a very easy to administer package. To the novice, this can be paramount. To the experienced energy healers, this is more along the lines of something that may come as an “Ah-ha!” moment. What many people look past in the short-term is the ability to assess and reconstruct a successful healing session.

Having a set way to work on your clients, no matter how loosely based, will indefinitely grant you the necessary insight to isolate concerns with your practice, and correct them quickly and efficiently.

Once you have a set way to practice that works for you and your clients, you can easily explain it to others, and help them gain valuable insight and learn how to heal themselves or others as well.

This list is not by any means the end-all-be-all, but it is intended to help.
