In this article, I’ll talk about energy shields, mirror shields, bubble shields, and how to create your own energy shields to use anytime. There is a quick exercise here that can teach you how to work with this simple, yet effective spiritual tool to protect yourselves and others against unwanted spiritual attention or psychic attacks.
Are you, or someone you know, having difficulties with things that may be outside of what they can normally see or work with in this world?
Do you feel like you’re a type of spiritual channel that is constantly being contacted by spirits for various reasons?
You may understand how important it is to have a tool such as shielding to protect yourselves and others, but for those who are especially affected by energy or sensitive to spirit, energy shielding or shielding has to be the most life-changing spiritual ability to develop.
When I speak of an energetic shield, I’m referring to a projection of energy that may extend from the aura (your personal bubble) in some way, that is manifested, willed, or created with a protective purpose.
When you think of a prayer of protection, the layer of faith-built shielding can become an energetic layer of protection as you may need. The same thoughts, visualizations, or even gestures can be used with a protective intention or purpose.
This type of spiritual protection is like a barrier that is with you as a part of your connection to your higher power. In most cases, there is no right or wrong way to call on this protection, just connect with them in your own way and ask.
What you experience personally while working with shielding may vary. Allowing for your experience to speak for itself, trusting yourself, as well as those you put your faith in work best.
Those a bit more open or connected to such ways may visualize, or understand in their own way, a form of coating or light that surrounds them, and the protection is so to them.
The advanced practitioner may see things differently, but only because of their experiences that have shaped their workings to be so.
When you think about what your idea of a shield would look or feel like, making one becomes much easier.
Is it as simple as speaking a prayer, or putting your favorite hat on?
Both are functionally optional, the rest depends on you and how you feel about energy.
The process of shielding with energy starts and operates from within. Allow me to explain in a guided method that you can try in a calm mental space.
Sit calmly for a few moments, and understand your needs for protection. Do your best to think of them in relation, idea, or even energy/essence.
Do you have a need to be protected from harm?
Does this need involve a will or desire to reject what is sent to harm you?
Who would you ask, if anyone, to help you when you need protection?
If not who, than what would you want to defend yourself with?
Once you have gathered your intentions, it is time to give them a way to exist or a form.
Let your breathing flow freely like the air in the room.
Think of your desires or intentions for protection from earlier.
As you remember them, allow the sensations or thoughts they draw from you to rise up.
Firmly hold these sensations or thoughts within your mind as you breathe.
Now, let these sensations or thoughts begin to flow in with the air around you as you inhale deeper.
After a few breaths, take one final breath in slowly.
As you exhale, think of a bubble blowing up around you, full of your intentions.
Visualize, sense, or intend this bubble to form around your body however you’d like. Your new bubble shield can exist, or not, for as long as you may allow it to.
If you focus on its reflection, it can act as a mirror to deflect or reflect undesired energies or connections.
The amount of energy you place towards your shield can never drain you completely, but it is much more effective when the body and mind are rested.
This bubble is of your energy, it won’t hurt you.
It is a safe space for as long as your thoughts and will maintain it.
